Epynt Welsh Wool Shroud

Epynt Welsh Wool Shroud

Our Epynt Welsh wool shrouds are made from locally sourced Welsh wool, grown high in the hilltops of Mid Wales on a family farm.

The wool felt used to make these shrouds comes from Hardy Epynt Speckled Face sheep, a native mountain breed. Our wool is processed entirely within the UK and fully traceable.

Our Welsh wool felt is a generously weighted wool fabric with a thickness of around 5mm.

This natural wool felt is a beautiful creamy ivory colour with soft brown flecks throughout.

Available in three sizes (please contact us if you require a bespoke size).

Included: 1 x wool shroud with matching wool ties

                    1 x matching wool pillow

1 x certified biodegradable absorbent liner

                    1 x wrapping instructions

These wool shrouds are for use with a coffin or shroud carrier.

We offer a handwoven wool and willow stretcher that are suitable for burial. These are made to order for accurate sizing.  Please contact us if you wish to order one with your shroud. Details and images can be viewed on our 'Shrouds & Shroud Carriers' page.

This certified British Wool shroud has been created in partnership with British farmers to help support improved returns for their wool, agricultural charities and projects/events in rural communities.
